Update: 8 months!

It’s hard to believe we’re getting closer and closer to a year with Baby N. 

The “N” is for No-Nap because he never wants to sleep. This kid doesn’t want to miss out on anything.

In no time he’ll be walking and then I won’t have a baby anymore…I’ll have a toddler!

Around 7 1/2 months he started crawling with his belly off the ground.

It wasn’t that surprising since he’s been scooting for forever. He still scoots some but has started to “real” crawl more and more.

About a week later he started to pull up…and then let go. He’s started “cruising” around furniture and from the couch to the ottoman. Just last week…this happened.

Yep we now have to block off the bottom of our stairs as well…because he goes right for them every time.

 Anyone need babyproofing services? He’ll find every loose cord and hazard in your home.

Now that he’s mobile he loves to follow his big brother around…which means big brother has started to have to protect his toys from Baby N!

Speaking of big brother. E got to experience his first time sledding this past month.

He had lots of fun…Baby N did not.

We also headed to Indy for Thanksgiving with my family. E had a blast with his Auntie & Uncle

These two boys could not be more different. I told someone recently the worst thing that could happen if I left E alone in a room is that he would entertain himself.

E is super excited about Christmas. This is the first year he understands whats going on and can anticipate it. He loves watching Christmas movies (The Grinch, Veggie Tales & Rudolph) and opening our Advent calendar boxes each day. He told me, “If the Grinch gets out of the movie he will take our Christmas tree. He’s a bad monster…he’s gonna be in time-0ut.”

Both boys did a great job at sitting still for some Christmas pictures too. Look at the little cuties! More on that to come!
